Ribbon of St. George
Originally the ribbon on which a metal cross enclosing the image of St. George defeating the dragon was hung to represent the bearer’s membership in the Russian Empire’s Order of St. George, the Ribbon of St. George has since grown to represent pride in Russia’s military victories.
