Neighbors whisper about a terrible act in the 1950s that made outsiders afraid to set foot in the neighborhood. The story that a murder was once allegedly committed in the neighborhood with an axe is often told by residents. Who, what, where, how and why exactly would this have happened? This remains unclear to this day. I have searched the newspaper archives, but have been unable to find any evidence of this murder. But this says absolutely nothing, local residents can tell you. The murder is said to have taken place within a criminal network, and all the evidence was hidden away before the police could be called. Some residents even claim to know where the murdered man lived....
