The Bunker as a Symbol

The bunker is not something to get rid of. In the neighborhood it is despised, beloved and still sometimes overlooked. What this story teaches us is that the bunker is a symbol of the versatility of experiences and memories of war, even on such a small scale as in the Transvaal neighborhood. Perhaps therein lies the key to figuring out the future of this bunker.
