Dutch with an Asian touch
This mysterious and luxurious black glazed object fools the eye by imitating one material whilst being made of something completely different. Why does it look like one thing when it is in fact another? In this story, we take a closer look at this rare object to explore how it encapsulates the ‘orient and the exotic’.
