Ivory ‘singha’

This is an ivory-carved statue representing a ‘singha’ (From Sanskrit: “siṃhaḥ”, “lion”) standing upright, over a more angelic ‘Yakṣa’ (an Indian elemental-natural spirit), placed between the singha’s hind feet.
