This story is part of the Ocean Objects series, supported and funded by the Research Grants Council Hong Kong (GRF 12603017). These boxes are filled with objects found on Hong Kong’s beaches. It belongs to Hong Kong artist Ching Sze-Yin Cicy, who has transformed some of them into jewellery. Like a seed tray, the box displays items from which other items seem to naturally emerge…
