In March 2023, the contents of the cabinet were moved to the closed storage of the University Libraries Leiden. A sad moment to realize that one cannot browse the shelves freely anymore to discover the admirable selection of books and to see what treasures are hidden between the pages.

Another chapter begins in the amazing history of Seyyidah Salme and her legacy, because in this way the collection will be well kept and secured for generations to come.
