It's That Time Again

The doors open. Impatient students start pushing. They are afraid the Hifi will be full before they can enter. The Hifi is a well-known phenomenon among students. People from other cities even travel to Leiden for a typical Hifi night. The club is only meant for students, so a student ID has to be shown upon entry. It is one of the few nightclubs in Leiden, and the maximum capacity of 350 people is quickly reached.

On the other side of the door, a beautiful Hifi night awaits. As soon as you walk in, you are welcomed by the warmth and cheerful tunes of popular songs. The night can begin. It is the place to let go and forget your problems while enjoying a drink in the company of fellow students. That’s what student life is all about. Being together, shaking it off, and having a lot to drink. An overly crowded club where the abundance of alcohol makes boundaries fade away.
