Step 3 of 4
Iridescent
It was time to leave, and I still hadn't found a cow with a guitá coat. Luckily my Hamar friend and teacher took it upon himself to stay on the lookout. I equipped him with a smartphone that he could use to take pictures.
And sure enough, he found the guitá coat, took pictures, and sent them to me. Looking at the pictures, and using our English, Dutch, Italian or other European color frame, many would say that this is a gray cow, some might even call it black.
But pay attention to the luminous, rainbow sheen on the coat, also called 'iridescent' (from Latin iris rainbow). That is guitá. It is that sheen in the sky and the sheen on this specific coat that Hamar call guitá. I was so happy to finally have seen the cow.
