Above the votive candles, on the northern pillar of the quiet room, hangs a notable object: an Eastern Orthodox icon of Jesus Christ. “Icons are a window to the eternity”. It is, as it were, a “piece of Heaven, a piece of God’s Kingdom”.
The protestant community received it from a community member and decided to include it in the quiet room and was even blessed by a patriarch. It is noted that some visitors pause for a moment at the icon.
