Step 8 of 8
Why?
We don’t know who Haron, son of Tkouikira, was.
Yet it is certain that somebody felt such an intense hatred towards him as to wish him dead. Haron may have stolen the person’s job or wife or he may have been a sadistic husband. In any case, his enemy commissioned an expensive magical ritual to have him killed in the most cruel way and damned to Hell.
The person whom he or she employed, the scribe, was a professional. He was an expert in magical rituals and wrote the texts in a swift and practiced hand. His writing materials were aptly chosen to fit the occasion: a dead animal’s rib and red ink, the color of blood.
