Burn one’s chariots
The defenders of the city are shown throwing down burning chariots on the advancing Assyrians (presumably more were shown, but that piece was broken off). The burning chariots are depicted schematically with wheels and yokes. Tongues of fire indicate that they were set on fire before being thrown.
These were probably standard Judean war chariots. They could not be used in battle, so they were thrown down in a last desperate attempt to stop the Assyrians.
