This structure depicted in the middle of the funerary scene is the tomb of Ipu.See N. Staring, ‘Sakkara: de Verborgen Tombes uit het Vroege Nieuwe Rijk’, Ta-Mery 2016-2017, 148-152. Another example of a tomb is seen in Figure 5. In the arch at the top of Ipu’s tomb there is a carved-out square, which was probably originally decorated with paint. In real life, this niche in the outer tomb wall could have held a small stela.
