Eels in Decameron

Step 3 of 4

The wine seller

Ciacco then makes a wine seller, a huge man, very angry at Biondello. Later on, Biondello is sent to the wine seller, not knowing that the man is angry at him. When Biondello arrives, he is beaten up very badly by the wine seller. Afterwards, Biondello and Ciacco meet each other once again. Ciacco asks Biondello about the wine, whereafter they decide not to bother each other anymore.

Since the novella of Ciacco and Biondello is not as famous as other novellas, it has not been adapted in many other works.
