Step 1 of 5
I spy something that you don’t see
Things That Talk focuses on objects and their stories, but the things we don’t see often have a story to tell as well. When walking down a corridor, I don’t simply see a corridor, unlike most people. I see emptiness. I see a lack of seating options. I see a classroom door that won’t be opened for a while. I see a floor that’s not quite clean enough to sit on. I see other students who aren’t frantically looking for somewhere to sit.
My heart rate goes up and I start to feel dizzy. How much longer before I can sit down? Will I be able to cope? The absence of seats seems to get worse.
