In addition to hoes and other hand-held attributes, ushabtis often have baskets with them to facilitate their agricultural works (Fig. 1). This one has a nice backpack-basket painted on its back.

We can see one more painted element on Amenkhau’s ushabti: the tassled headband. Let’s turn him back over to take a closer look.
