Light in the Stinking Rose

This story is about an object that resembles a flower in bloom but is made of the skin of garlic, a vegetable also known as “the stinking rose”. By integrating a light bulb to transform kitchen waste into a lamp, Hong Kong artist Tsang Tak-ping gave a second life to organic materials by upcycling them into an object of daily use.
