From the vault

The vault of the Dutch Near East Institute (NINO) is small, but it contains many treasures. And each object comes with its own story.

For this story, we carefully laid out some of those objects in a box, so we can study them more thoroughly. All four objects are made of clay, and they all contain cuneiform. Let’s start on the right.
