Whether you would be given an embroidered helmet or not, depended on your rank. Having a high rank did not mean that the embroidery on your helmet would be jaw-droppingly detailed. Imperial symbols such as the steady rock, the dragons and the flames would typically undergo some abstraction. As long as it looked fierce for approaching enemies, the embroidery had done its job.
