Sarcophagus of Wahibreemakhet
Basalt sarcophagus of Wahibreemakhet (230 x 94 x 105 cm). It probably originates from Saqqara and dates from the 26th Dynasty (664 - 525 BCE). Lid and coffin combined weigh approximately 3000 kg. It is inscribed with religious spells and decorated with depictions of multiple Egyptian gods and goddesses.
