Lightsticks

If you ever go to a K-pop concert, one of things you need is a lightstick. Every group has its own design, and they are used during concerts. So when everyone has one (or two), they become part of a fantastic light show. I have two lightsticks: the normal version and the special version only available through a merchandise subscription, in BTS’ case named ARMY membership.

At the concert the lightsticks are connected to the seats with bluetooth and are then controlled from the stage.

The video shows exactly how it works and just how extremely awesome it is. I went to the BTS concert in Amsterdam (2018) and the lightsticks give the concert an extra dimension. I think it’s one of the coolest things in K-pop, and more artists outside K-pop should start doing the same!
