    In the vault where its famous cuneiform collection is kept, the Netherlands Institute for the Near East also has drawers, cabinets and shelves full of all types of ancient artifacts. Stemming from all over the (ancient) Near East, the Institute’s non-cuneiform collection has never been properly studied. Since the collection is moving soon, this seems like a good moment to take a closer look at it.
