Chinese family

I have checked a few times, but the red envelopes hanging in our plants right behind my mother are, unfortunately, empty. Normally, there should be money in there. Growing up in a Chinese family, we maintained the custom of giving money to relatives in these red envelopes. However, in recent years, the traditional red envelope has also become a decoration in our home. Not just these plants, but also our Christmas tree is beautifully decorated with red envelopes every year.
