Storyline
Sharkless and Un-chinese Soups
Having soup as a starter is a habit of many customers who dine in Chinese-Indonesian restaurants. Shark fin soup and Chinese tomato soups are two classics which are often ordered, and both have their own particularities. Shark fin soup attracts many who are curious about the name, whereas Chinese tomato soup is closer to home. However, both soups are heavily adapted from their Chinese originals and now serve as starters in the Chinese-Indonesian cuisine in the Netherlands.
