A Cabinet Full of Riches
These statues of Hanuman are part of a rich collection of statues of Hindu deities and objects. This private home temple, which is housed in a wooden cabinet, stands in a room which includes non-Hindu objects, such as a printer and miniature trains. The collection of Hindu statues and objects, however, previously took up an entire room: “I used to have a separate room in my former home, but since I moved to this house, I only have a cabinet.”
