Story:

Facing Uncanniness: Using Human Skin for Clothing

story by Frank van den Boom

It is part of a larger art project quasi clothing line, SkinBag, in which Goulet uses synthetic human skin to create provocative fashion statements, such as the one displayed here. What does this artwork entail, and can (synthetic) human skin be an environmentally sustainable alternative for clothing fabric?
