Obligatory chocolate box

This box, which is filled with tiny chocolate bars, was created by Yuraku Confectionery for Valentine’s Day to make buying obligatory chocolates easier. It contains twenty chocolate bars and clearly states it is for obligatory (義理) purposes only. This relatively cheap and large box reveals certain gendered traditions during Valentine’s Day in Japan.
