Storyline
Honk Kong on a shell
Pearl oyster shells are native to Hong Kong, where they cover the city’s beaches. This particular shell has been beautified with a view of Hong Kong’s iconic Victoria Harbour. The painting stands in the tradition of workshop productions of similar views painted on canvas and paper in China’s Pearl River Delta area.
