Rudolph’s collection houses many books on the history and politics of the Middle East. One of them is J. M. N. Jeffries’ Palestine: the reality, from 1939.

On the title page we can see Rudolph Said-Ruete’s ex libris. This volume is one of the many publications on the Palestine question written by Joseph Mary Nagle Jeffries (1880-1960). He was a British war correspondent, historian and author.
