Wooden doors

The painting stands out for its many ornamented wooden doors, fences and windows. In the upper part of the painting a rich carpet is put underneath the feet of Yusuf and Zulaykha, who are incidentally rather large for the size of the palace.

The portal in the center, right under Yusuf, has a stucco wall with blue drawings. Similar decorations can be found in Timurid monuments today, and are believed to be of Chinese origin.
